David Guetta Performs COVID Charity Concert

OVERVIEW

The Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DCTCM) is responsible for the branding, promotion and marketing of the emirate of Dubai.

DCTCM is dedicated to working with private and public sector tourism and commerce partners to promote Dubai’s position as a leading business and leisure destination around the world.

WORK

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dubai Tourism launched a free online event, streaming on YouTube, featuring a performance by superstar DJ David Guetta on the iconic Burj Al Arab helipad. The initiative aimed to keep Dubai in the global spotlight as the city worked to revitalise its tourism sector, while also raising funds for UNICEF and Dubai Cares' Education Uninterrupted campaign.


At Four Communications, we orchestrated exclusive English and Arabic media interviews ahead of the event with major global outlets, including CNBC, CNN, EuroNews, and Arabian Radio Network. We  drafted and distributed a press release to secure additional local and international coverage, which resulted in over 10 million streams, exceeding Dubai Tourism’s objectives.
